Our latest artifact

This 1940's link trainer has been donated to the museum from 223 Read Lion Squadron here in Vernon.

The restoration to get this wonderful artifact operational again is expected to take three years, $18,000.00 and a lot of love.

Thank you to 223 Red Lion's support committee for thinking of the museum when making this donation.

Preservation

A donation of $50.00 assists in the preservation of artifacts and archives.

Co-Producer

$125.00

By donating you will be listed as a Co-Producer for the 27 minute film being produced for the museum. The cost of this film will be in excess of $5500.00

Knowledge

$250.00

For every $250.00 the museum is able to install an archival viewing screen. A screen will allow visitors to search the archives, both in print and photo.

Development

$500.00

With a donation of $500.00 the museum has the ability to continue developing new displays.

Rejuvenation

$1,000.00

An estimated $18,000.00 is required to make this artifact operational again. With this flight simulator back in working order, we hope to inspire the wonders of flight.

The Society will also foster a deeper understanding of the Military and Cadet experience, within the broader context of Canadian history, among veterans, former cadets, communities in the Vernon area and all Canadians.
