Hosted by ET Canada's
Featuring
Afghanistan, An Urgent Appeal For Action.
The takeover by the Taliban has thrown the future of Afghanistan into uncertainty, and it now stands on the verge of a humanitarian crisis. More than 750,000 people have been forced from their homes by the recent violence, and they are in desperate need of assistance – especially as winter approaches. Millions are facing the very real threat of starvation.
War Child’s teams in Afghanistan are 100% local, they are from the communities they serve, and they are ready to do all they can to help those most in need.
But we cannot do it alone. We need the support of people like you so that we can stay and continue our work. We cannot abandon the people of Afghanistan at such a critical time.
Thank you for generously donating today.
About War Child
War Child is an acclaimed humanitarian organization that has been protecting children from the brutal impact of war and violence for the past 20 years.
Using a bold, community-driven approach, War Child delivers programs that give children the best chance of overcoming the challenges of war and growing up to see a brighter future. War Child makes it possible for children to get back to school, protects their rights, and gives their families the tools they need to escape poverty. This is accomplished with a long term focus, 99% local staff, and by investing 93% of every dollar into our overseas programming. War Child Canada supports over 600,000 war-affected people every year.
