Tickets

• Tickets will be sold and purchased only in Ontario.
• Ticket purchasers must be 18 years of age or older.
• Tickets will be sold using an electronic raffle system supplied by Trellis Social Enterprise Inc.
• Tickets can be purchased online at http://comfiecatshelter5050.ca for 10 for $10.00, 40 for $25 or 100 for $50.
• After purchasing, patrons will receive a confirmation emailed with their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.
• The Comfie Cat Shelter staff, volunteers and Board of Directors, as well as their spouses, children and children-in-law are not permitted to purchase tickets and are not eligible to win.

50/50 Raffle:

This draw will have a guaranteed prize of $500. When the ticket sales exceed $999, the winning prize will be half of the sales. The Early Bird draw will be a draw for $250.

Winner

• The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for each of the draws.
• Winners will be posted online at http://comfiecatshelter5050.ca the day of the draws.
• Winner will be contacted by phone and email by a Comfie Cat Shelter staff member.
• Winners consent to release of their names by licensee.
• If a winning ticket bears a minor’s name, the prize will be lawfully delivered on behalf of the minor to the minor’s parent, legal guardian or trustee.
• The winner must provide their name, address and phone number with picture identification for our report sheet and send it to http://comfiecatshelter5050.ca , or provide it in person.
• Once the certified winner is verified, and provides identification, they will be given a wire transfer or a cheque in the amount of the declared prize. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.
• The winning ticket holder has six (6) months in which to claim their prize from the date of the draw their ticket was purchased for. If no winner comes forward in that time, the prize will be donated to a local charity with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
