Century Downs Racetrack and Casino is Southern Alberta’s premier destination for horse racing fans. Racing enthusiasts can enjoy over 60 days of Standardbred racing in the spring, summer and fall. At Century Down Racetrack and Casino, we believe in being good neighbors. This means, in addition to donating funds and support services to community groups, we also encourage our employees to be actively involved in the communities in which we operate.

Raffle Rules of Play
Participants must be 18 years of age or older and located in Alberta at the time of purchase. The name of a minor must not be written on a ticket. Keep your ticket until a winner is confirmed. The winner must have their ticket to claim the prize. Additional rules may apply. Be sure to check each draw's rules before purchasing tickets.

Rules to Play - 50/50

  • Ticket purchasers must be 18 years of age or older, and the name of a minor must not be written on the ticket.
  • Purchase price of each ticket:
  • 1 ticket for $5, 10 tickets for $20, 25 tickets for $40
  • Number of tickets available for sale: 3,150
  • Only 1 draw where winner will receive 50% of ticket sales raised during the ticket sales period. The winner will be determined by a random draw utilizing a gaming registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) Random Number Generator (RNG). The winner shall be displayed automatically on this website.
  • There's only one draw to be conducted for each of the following prizes no subsequent draws after that.
  • Participants must be located within the province of Alberta. The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the raffle: All employees of the organization associated with the management and execution of the raffle, and all of the organization’s board members. Winners have 30 days to claim the prize. Unclaimed prizes will be donated to the foundation approved by AGLC.
  • A valid reason for claiming refund and dispute or lost tickets after the draw is done shall be emailed to the organization for verification before refunding and no refund shall be issued after the draw is done unless deemed reasonable by the organization.
  • If more than one name is written on a winning ticket stub, the prize will be awarded to only one of the individuals named on the ticket stub. Neither the licensed charitable organization nor AGLC is responsible for any disputes among the individuals whose names are written on the ticket stub

  • For electronic raffles, a procedure in the event of a power failure - we will communicate with participants when the issue is resolved and when the winner is posted.
