CFUW Southport

CFUW Southport brings together women from across Saugeen Shores and beyond to connect, learn and advocate.

CFUW Southport is a dynamic group of women from all backgrounds, stages of life, and educational levels

(no degree or diploma needed).

We offer opportunities to make new friends and provide intellectual stimulation, fellowship, and active participation in public affairs, locally, provincially, nationally, and internationally.

About the Vigil

Join CFUW Southport's 31st Vigil in person to help us continue to raise

awareness of gender-based violence.

On December 6th, we will once again recognize the 14 women who were massacred at the Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal in 1989 by a man claiming to be fighting feminism.

At this time we also remember the missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls.

We invite you to join us on Monday, December 6th, at noon at Coulter Parkette, off Green Street in Port Elgin, to remember those who were lost, are missing, and are still suffering from abuse today.

Our Speakers will be from Victim Services, Women's House Serving Grey Bruce and the Kabaeshiwin Respite Shelter.

Please wear a mask and respect social distancing.

So what can YOU do to make a difference in the lives of the women and

children who need to escape an abusive relationship?

Please consider supporting our local Women's Shelters.

See below for some statistics, information about our Women's Shelters and how to make your donation.

Please donate NOW and help support our local Women's Shelters so they can continue to provide much-needed services.
