Citrine Foundation March Matching Campaign
Citrine Foundation March Matching Campaign
Each year in Canada, it is estimated that up to 362,000 children are exposed to family violence. To help support mothers and young children in need, the Citrine Foundation of Canada has agreed to match donations up to $50K to help fund Mothers in Mind, a parenting program designed to meet the needs of mothers who have experienced family violence and have children under the age of four.
The Citrine Foundation has supported the important work of Yellow Brick House for the last two years, and we are so excited to be partnering with them again this March. If you feel motivated to support mothers in your community to develop parenting skills through a trauma-informed approach, we encourage you to help Yellow Brick House match up to $50K with the Citrine Foundation March Matching campaign and double your impact.
Why Mothers in Mind?
Mothers in Mind ® covers a range of topics to help moms learn how to manage stress, increase self-esteem and respond to their children in a sensitive, caring manner. The focus of the program is to intervene early in the lives of young children and their mothers in order to strengthen parent-child relationships, enhance parenting skills and reduce parenting stress so that children are able to develop a strong attachment with their mothers, which will allow them to be healthier and happier as they grow up.
