When can I buy a ticket?
Tickets will be available to buy starting on February 1, 2023 @ 12 AM until March 14, 2023 @ 12:00 pm (noon).
When is the draw?
The draw is on March 14, 2023 at 12:00 pm (noon). The draw will be conducted online.
How do I buy a ticket?
To buy a ticket, click on raffle, you will be prompted to enter your email address and credit card, and then create a password to login to the lottery. Once logged in, you can buy as many tickets as you wish. Your card will only be charged when you check out.

What is a 50/50?
A 50/50 raffle is similar to a standard raffle, but instead of a pre-selected prize, the nonprofit or charity equally splits the total amount collected from the sale of tickets with the winner.
What are the odds in winning?
The odds are 1 in 9700 (total tickets for sale) to win a prize. Actual odds depend on number of tickets sold.
How do I know if I won?
After the draw, the winner will be contacted by telephone from the FSJ Hospital Foundation. The prize will be available for pick up or mailed once the winner’s identity and mailing address has been verified. Winners consent to release of their names by licensee. If a winning ticket bears a minor's name, the prize will be lawfully delivered on behalf of the minor to the minor's parent, legal guardian or trustee. The winner will be published on our facebook page https://www.facebook.com/fsjhospitalfoundation.
Is the Lottery ticket purchase tax deductible?
No, your ticket purchase is not tax deductible. Although your purchase generously helps enhance patient care at the Fort St John Hospital, Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) regulations do not allow purchased lottery tickets to be tax deductible.
Will my winnings be taxed?
As mandated by Canada Revenue Agency, lottery winnings are not taxable. They are not considered income or capital gains.
