Sir Martin Gilbert's Historical Atlases

These five historical atlases are of the First World War, the Second World War, the Holocaust, British History, and American History.

Hundreds of maps in each atlas show the chronological historical progression, economic and social changes, war and conflict, along with the stories of individuals and the movements of refugees.

Each atlas has a book plate stating that the atlas is from Sir Martin's private collection.

About Sir Martin Gilbert

The official biographer of Winston Churchill and a leading historian on the Twentieth Century, Sir Martin Gilbert was a scholar and an historian who through his 88 books has shown there is such a thing as "true history". Sir Martin Gilbert, noted historian, said his favourite hobby was drawing maps.
