Derrick Francis 2020 Cops for Kids Ride

This is will be my 3rd C4K Ride. I hope that it will be the third of many. Every year I look forward to the physical challenge of the training & the ride. I also love the chance to be part of a group of dedicated people all with the same goal of raising funds for families facing challenges. I have never worked with such a dedicated group of people before. This includes the sponsors, volunteers, families & riders. There is so much planning that goes into a ride like this, I had little idea of how much. I was also blessed to be among a group of dedicated riders, volunteers & crew that was fed & watered in each location beyond expectations. In saying that the dedication of the volunteers in each community that hosted the parties & supported the families is beyond explanation. Lastly to all of the families that are dealing with the challenges. You folks are genuine heroes. Every day you face this head on & maintain a positive attitude. You are such a blessing to our communities & great examples to other families finding themselves in the same situations. I hope you know how important your all are.

To those that donated to my ride last year thank you so much. To those that are planning to contribute this year please know that this is a top notch charity. They operate with very little over head so that all donated funds are maximized for use by the families.
