Help women in your community so they can become economically independent
Join us on January 26th, 2023 for an evening of delicious food, live and silent auctions, and meaningful connections. Our goal is to raise $45,000 to support the programs we provide to women in Simcoe County and surrounding areas.
“We are about much more than simply a new outfit.”
Our vision is a world where women do not live in poverty. We strive for a world where all women are financially independent, are treated with dignity and respect and are directly impacting their lives and those of their families. Our purpose is to offer long-lasting solutions that enable women to break the cycle of poverty.
We provide our clients with attire to secure employment, but we don't stop there. Our Breakfast Club and Professional Women's Group programs help women gain new skills, confidence, and the knowledge that they can actively define their lives and the direction they take.
Poverty often affects women the most, and its effects on them and their families can be long-lasting. Besides being good for individual women, a growing body of evidence shows that increasing the share of household income controlled by women may produce other benefits like greater investment in children’s education, delayed marriage, and reductions in gender-based violence.
Addressing women’s needs is central to improving the quality of life for not only that woman but also her family, future generations and her community.
