. . . is a JUNO-winning chamber orchestra which performs three series in Toronto, tours in Ontario from Brockville to Sarnia, plays annually in Barrie and Sault Ste-Marie, and takes its interactive ‘Concerts under Construction’ program into high-needs schools.

Sinfonia Toronto's repertoire includes all the major works for string orchestra from the Baroque through the Classical, Romantic and 20th-century eras. The orchestra has premiered many new works and is committed to promoting music by Canadian composers.

The orchestra has toured in the US, Germany, South America, Spain and most recently China (September 2019), always including Canadian works in tour programs.  The Musical Journal in Buenos Aires hailed their Mozart and Dvorak as “definitive performances."
