The Event

For 2021, we wanted a way to bring our Black Tie sponsors and attendees back to the fun of the evening without being together in-person. So, we’re asking people to put away their bingo cards and get out their credit cards! New for 2021 is the EY Black Tie Bingo Shopping Experience, there is a large variety of silent auction packages and three amazing raffles!

Thank-you to our Title Sponsor, EY

We are proud to have EY as our Black Tie Bingo title sponsor for 2021! This event has raised more than $2 million for Saskatoon City Hospital Foundation over the years to the benefit of the hospital. Longtime supporters, this is the second year with EY having their name and brand next to the familiar bowtie.

As business advisors dedicated to serving the Saskatoon business community, EY proudly joins with organizations that address the societal issues of our time to help drive growth and prosperity. Community involvement is a key priority for EY, and they

encourage their people to apply their workplace skills to create positive change for Saskatoon.

Your Support is Making a Difference

Proceeds from the Black Tie Bingo Shopping Experience benefit the Foundation’s Physician Fellowship/Residency Program and also support the Foundation’s Equip for

Excellence campaign.

To date, three physicians have completed training and are now working at Saskatoon City Hospital. Dr. Campos-Baniak spent a year at Dalhousie University in Halifax and is now the glaucoma surgery specialist on staff at SCH. Last October, Dr. Krista

Lagimodiere and Dr. Megan Surkan began working at SCH, tripling the number of Fellowship-trained geriatricians in the city.

A fourth physician, ophthalmologist Dr. Moness Masri, is currently enrolled in a two-year Vitreoretinal Fellowship program at the University of Alberta. He’ll return to the Eye Care Centre in summer of 2022.

Your support of the Black Tie Bingo Shopping Experience means more young doctors can train and bring their expertise back to Saskatoon City Hospital.

Proceeds from all raffles will support Equip for Excellence. Saskatoon City Hospital is a busy place.

With 200,000 procedures every year, medical equipment wears out sooner and ages faster. Equip for Excellence ensures that vital equipment is replaced as needed with the best, latest and safest technology.

Your support of BlackTie Bingo Shopping Experience helps people see better, walk better, and live better.
