Festival of Trees
Home for Christmas
Covid-19 has brought many challenges, but one thing we can count on is our community coming together to share some holiday joy.
With the support of our wonderful volunteers and amazing sponsors help, Kenora & Lake of the Woods Community Foundation is thrilled to bring you Festival of Trees 2020 from the comfort and safety of your own home.
As we have for the past 16 years, attendees of our first ever Stay at home Gala will enjoy local music, an online silent auction, guest speakers, a gift card tree raffle and the keystone LIVE Tree auction. With plenty of entertainment, prizes for best dressed, and other fun activities, this year is shaping up to be one of our most exciting ones yet.
Local businesses have joyfully agreed to display our beautifully decorated trees in their store windows for two weeks prior to the event – so stay tuned for our “2020 Tree Trail” map!
Without further ado, you are cordially invited to attend our live virtual Home for Christmas Festival of Trees Gala on Saturday, December 5th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
We appreciate your continued support for this truly wonderful event in this new Covid-friendly Stay-at-Home format. We encourage you to take this opportunity to get dressed up, enjoy delicious foods from one of our local restaurant partners, enjoy our signature “Home for Christmas” cocktail (recipe to follow) and show your support for your local Community Foundation!
A reminder to please keep to current Covid protocols when planning to join us!
The event will be LIVE streamed to your homes.
