Rotary's Virtual Trivia Night and Silent Auction
The Kelowna Okanagan Mission Rotary Club continues it's tradition of hosting our annual Trivia Night and Auction in support of our community, this time virtually! With the support of our partners and sister club, Rotary Now! we have a fun evening planned that will raise much needed funds for organizations in Kelowna. We provide environmental education; support for women and children who’ve experienced abuse; and have helped provide a home away from home for families experiencing medical challenges. This year more than ever our local charities need support from Rotary as they navigate through the impacts of COVID-19.

As gathering restrictions continue, we encourage you and your friends to gather together and enjoy the trivia broadcast as a group virtually. JD from Tremendous Trivia who has been our host for our live events will be presenting. Trivia starts at 6:30 and there are 3 rounds, including a Name That Tune music round. We'll be taking breaks in between to give everyone a chance to socialize and mingle, and to bid on the Silent Auction items. Using Zoom and Crowd Live software your team can work together for the answers and enjoy each other's company... virtually! Be sure to tell us your team name... sure, creativity counts!

As a part this year's event we are asking for your donation to Child Advocacy Centre of Kelowna.
CHILD ABUSE, difficult to talk about. Ugly to think about. Impossible to imagine.
But it is happening. It happens everyday. And it's happening here, in our community.
The Child Advocacy Centre is designed to accommodate a team of highly-skilled professionals who are empowered to collaborate on cases, take actions that prevent re-victimization, and support the child’s long-term well-being, as well as non-offending caregivers. Our goal is to provide a centre of leadership, promoting excellence in child abuse services, research, training and education – a collective community response to protecting children from abuse.
