UPDATE: Thank you to my wonderful friends, neighbours, and family for helping me reach my goal in just a few hours! Your support means so much to me - I have decided to increase my goal to raise $1,500 to support those in our community who need the Crisis Line. I hope those who are in distress right now will know that there are caring people in our community who can help.
As you can see, I need haircut!
But before those clippers get close to my head, I want to raise $1,000 $1,500 for a cause close to my heart - the Crisis Line.
The Crisis Line helped me during a difficult time in my life and now I want to give back.
And I am asking for your help. When you donate to The Crisis Line, you are giving a life line to those in our community, people like you and me, who need crisis and emotional support during challenging times in our lives.

The Mane Event
Cal Enns, owner of Country Squire Barbers will do the honour of giving Richard a much-needed hair cut once $1,500 has been raised for the Crisis Line.
The shop is temporarily closed, but Cal is eagerly waiting to re-open with safety practices in place.
His shop and clippers are sanitized, revved up and ready for a shorn-down! There has never been a mane Cal hasn't been able to tame!

More than ever, the Crisis Line is a vital part of our community, with calls dramatically increased due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Crisis Line is a 24/7 life-line for community members needing crisis intervention and emotional support provided by trained community volunteers and supportive staff.
Last year we answered more than 7,500 calls!

Our Crisis Line is available 24/7 at 1.888.353.2273.
Since the global pandemic was announced mid-March, The Interior Crisis Line Network experienced a record amount of calls, with nearly one-third due to anxiety about COVID-19.
