This event will introduce you to authors and their stories featured in the book The Antiracist Kitchen. As you gain insight into their experiences, you will learn new vocabulary and tools to fight racism. Together, we will create a safe environment for courageous conversations and mutual understanding.


To celebrate Canadian Children's Book Week, join us! This virtual event is for foodies and bibliophiles, teachers, caregivers, volunteers, and kids in grade three and up!


Plus, you won’t leave hungry! Following Nadia’s presentation, Growing Chefs will help you prepare a dish featured in the book. We will end with some door prizes!


All attendees will receive an ingredient list and recipe from the book, and a Zoom link to attend the presentation.
