Haircuts For Health
COVID-19 is having a profound impact on our world, and most notably our frontline workers – especially our healthcare providers and their families – around the globe – and right here at WDMH. Support the WDMH Foundation's COVID-19 Staff Support Fund and have some fun, too!
This fund will have an immediate impact by helping us to support staff as they work 24/7 to keep WDMH safe for our community. The money will be used for items such as meals, gift cards and other items to help brighten everyone’s day.
We're challenging you to a COVID chop for good! Give a cut, or get a cut from a quarantine buddy and direct the funds that you would have spent on a 'professional' haircut to our Foundation. Once you've finished your masterpiece, donate below, then share your new 'do on social media using #haircutsforhealth. Then challenge your friends to a Haircut for Health too!

It's no secret that this is a challenging time around our world, as we work together to fight COVID-19. From staying home, washing our hands, and taking care of our loved ones, we're all doing our part to slow the curve.
But it's our frontline workers who are going above and beyond to keep us safe. We're so thankful for their heroic effort to keep our communities healthy, to stop the spread of COVID-19, and care for those in critical situations as a result of this virus.
Join us as we say thank you to them, as we show our support, and as we stand together in this time - even if that's through a subpar new haircut!

We want this to be a fun event for friends and family. But we want you to be safe too. Please wash your hands and practice physical distancing. We all need to stay within our COVID-19 bubble!
How to Participate
Check out the three step guide below to see how you can participate in the challenge
1 - Cut Hair!
Pull out the scissors or clippers and give your best shot at as a hairdresser!
Give yourself a COVID cut, or do a quick chop for a family member. You can try any look you want! We won't judge you!
2 - Donate!
Donate the money you would have spent on a professional haircut to the WDMH Foundation COVID-19 Staff Support Fund. We really appreciate your help!
3 - Share!
Pass the love along (and maybe the clippers?) to 3 friends! Share some before and after pics with your friends and inspire them to try a new 'do too!
Use our hashtag #HaircutsForHealth when you posting your pictures for a chance to be featured in our COVID Cuts Hall of Fame!
Please show your "professional" stylist some love with a tag on your post. This will show them you miss them and it may help them to attract new clients when this is all over.

Do I have to cut my hair to donate?
No! Not sure you're ready to resort to cutting your own hair? That's okay, you can still donate to the WDMH Foundation through this page. Or, you could do a fun colour or funky style - the sky's the limit!
Where is my donation going?
Your donation will go towards our COVID-19 Staff Support Fund. The COVID-19 Staff Support Fund will have an immediate impact by helping us to support staff as they work 24/7 to keep WDMH safe for our community. The money will be used for items such as dinners, gift cards and other items to help brighten everyone’s day.
Can I cut anyone's hair?
We want this to be a fun event for friends and family. But we want you to be safe too. Please ensure you are follow proper hygiene precautions and practicing social distancing. We all need to stay within COVID-19 bubble!
