Greg Blanchard, host

With over 30 years in the harness racing industry, Greg is an asset to the sport and one of the most respected on-air personalities, with an extensive resume in broadcasting that includes TSN, CBS, The Score, Woodbine Racing Live and COSA TV. As the Director of Sales/Marketing and Communications for The District in London, Ontario, he has been with Western Fair since 2010, previously serving as Director of Racing, announcer and assistant racing manager.

A native of Prince Edward Island, Greg was one of the driving forces to expand Harness the Hope's efforts to Canada's east coast in 2019. He has a profound knowledge and love for the sport and the people in it, making him our "BEST BET" to help us in our fundraising efforts!

Neil Sammut, host

With over 25 years of experience,  Neil has been a host and MC for on-air and on-site events with YTV, CBC, the TRCA and the MOE, as well as various fundraisers, festivals and sporting events. An entertainer at heart, Neil has recorded in Nashville, performed on BT and has been the voice of multiple radio advertising campaigns. Breast cancer first impacted Neil’s life when his Mom, Betty, was diagnosed with Inflammatory Breast Cancer when he was 22 years old. Betty succumbed to this devastating disease when she was just 58, leaving behind a family forever changed. As a member of the Dustin’s extended family, Neil is so proud of all that Doreen, Kristy, Brandi and their team of volunteers have accomplished over the last 15 years. This is Neil’s fourth year contributing to Harness the Hope and he is honoured to be a part of such an incredible team and worthwhile cause.
