Help COTS deliver Summer In a Box to promote healthy and active living.

The COVID-19 pandemic has undoubtedly taken a toll on us all, affecting our physical, mental, and spiritual health. As the pandemic continues to unfold, social and recreational opportunities will likely be limited over the summer months. For BC’s transplant children, their immunocompromised state puts them at a higher risk and thus, increased rates of social isolation. This summer, they will be restricted from playing with friends or attending social gatherings, specifically our beloved Annual Transplant Camp at Camp Latona.

To boost their spirits, provide recreational and learning opportunities, and maximize socialization, we're asking for your help to send COTS families "Summer in a Box!" This will contain supplies, activities, and other goodies that will help transplant youth make the most of summer in a healthy, active, and safe manner. With your support, we can transform this upcoming season for immunocompromised transplant youth. Spark joy, send summer in a box!

Organized by
Children's Organ Transplant Society
The Children’s Organ Transplant Society is dedicated to enhancing the lives of children who are waiting or have received an organ transplant in British Columbia. As a registered charity, we support families through medical and non-medical funding, nutrition and mental health programming, camp, education and awareness, as well as parent and peer support. We are a community and support network. A space to heal and learn. We witness families as they move through the most traumatic experience of their life and provide financial, emotional, psychological, and social support to help them cope.
