Last November, CanU Canada invited its community to celebrate its tenth anniversary at the inaugural Imagine Stories Gala. Supporters, partners, volunteers, participants and donors attended an evening full of stories of hope, confidence, resilience and belonging in the CanU context.
In addition to the generous funds donated to get “more kids on the bus”, the benefits and effects of last year’s gala were immense: new experiences for participants were created, career opportunities emerged, and new partnerships were formed. CanU and the gala event committee are pleased to announce that the Imagine Stories Gala is returning this fall!
The Imagine Stories Gala 2023 promises to deliver another inspiring evening of impactful storytelling led by CanU participants. Guests will enjoy dinner, a cash bar, 50/50 draw, silent auction and a variety of opportunities to be a part of the CanU story.
Your presence at the gala will not only allow you to witness firsthand the incredible work being done by our post-secondary student mentors but will also give you the opportunity to hear the inspiring stories of the young individuals whose lives you are helping to transform. Your investment in their future is a testament to your belief in the power of education and mentorship.

I. TICKET DETAILS

50% of ticket sales. Winner may take a maximum amount of $9,000.00
II. METHOD
Only 1 draw where winner will receive 50% of ticket sales raised during the ticket sales period. The winner will be determined by a random draw utilizing an LGCA registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) Random Number Generator (RNG). The winner shall be announced to all participants via electronic notification.
III. ELIMINATION OF WINNERS
There's only one draw to be conducted, no subsequent draws after that.
IV. AGE LIMIT
Must be 18 or older to participate.
V. CONDITIONS & ELIGIBILITY
Participants must be located within the province of Manitoba.
The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the raffle:
All employees of the organization associated with the management and execution of the raffle, and all of the organization's board members.
VI. ANY OTHER RESTRICTIONS TO THE WINNING PRIZE
The organization is not responsible for difficulties arising in contacting the winner due to the winner entering erroneous contact information at the time of purchase.

VII. CONDITIONS FOR UNCLAIMED PRIZES
Winners have 30 days to claim the prize. Unclaimed prizes will be donated to the foundation approved by LGCA.
VIII. PURCHASING TICKETS
Tickets can only be purchased online.
IX. COMPLAINTS
Any complaints can be directed to the raffle administrators by emailing: ritac@canucanada.org. Administrators will review the complaint and take action if necessary.
X. DELAY IN DRAW
Should a delay occur in the draw time on draw day, every effort will be made to make the draw as soon as possible. Should an alternate day need to be announced, after approval by LGCA, all ticket purchasers will be notified via email.
