Indigenous History Month

Honor, Reflect, Commit

It is a time to honour and celebrate the rich and diverse cultures, languages, and histories of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities

Organized by
Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association (TOTA)
The Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association regional brand name “Thompson Okanagan” represents the geographic area depicted on the map below. The region gets its name from two major geographic features, the Thompson River and Okanagan Lake. This diverse area ranges from Christina Lake and the Shuswap to the east, Cache Creek and Princeton to the west, Mount Robson in the north, and Osoyoos in the south. TOTA would like to acknowledge that the land which the Thompson Okanagan is established on is in the traditional territory of the Syilx, Secwepemc, and Nlaka'pamux Nations.
