Peller Family Vineyards

Uniquely shared experiences and memories are what make up "family". The big, the small, the quirky, the traditional, it's these memories and moments that become traditions that ultimately get passed down through generations.

Peller Family Vineyards understands that every family has unique moments and wants to continue to help you make more of them with your family - at every occasion.

Every gathering you have. Every recipe you bake. Every story you tell. Every glass you pour. Together, we'll celebrate each and every moment, because with Peller Family Vineyards, there's no better time for a glass of wine.

Select Chardonnay 2019

Winemaking Style

Premium Chardonnay grapes were harvested from vineyards in the southern Okanagan and the Similkameen valleys. The grapes were gently pressed, and the juice was cool fermented in stainless steel, then given minimal exposure to French oak for added depth of complexity. In order to retain freshness this wine did not undergo a malolactic fermentation.

Characteristics

Clear and bright with a bouquet of yellow apple, pineapple, melon, pear and a touch of oak. This smooth yet refreshing, medium-bodied Chardonnay has flavours of orchard fruits and a touch of spice. Refreshing notes of citrus and green apple, accent by spice and subtle oak linger on the finish. The perfect ‘House’ Chardonnay.

Monte Creek Winery

Monte Creek Ranch Winery is owned by a local BC family. Our property has 75 acres of vines planted at two estates vineyards, Monte Creek and Lion’s Head. While the family’s hands are in every aspect of the business, they also have a trusted team of on-site professionals to manage daily winery and vineyard operations.

With an agricultural background, the team at the winery understands how important it is to have healthy permaculture (diversity in offering and land use) for successful and sustainable farming. We practice organic farming methods at every opportunity, an important decision that has everything to do with the livestock we raise and our proximity to the river. Cattle graze on native grasses, and in the winter are fed hay grown on the property. Who wants to eat chemicals? We don’t. Learn more about our sustainability efforts here.
