College Scholarships

Your donation will go towards higher education scholarships for Seniors at our local High Schools (both Monrovia High and Canyon Oaks/Mountain Park) to attend 2 and 4-year universities to further their education. The Monrovia Rotary Club typically hands out over $12K each year in scholarships to our local high school Seniors to continue their higher education.

Vocational Scholarships

Your donation will go towards vocational scholarships for local adults wishing to attend vocational programs in collaboration with the Monrovia Community Adult School (MCAS).  Through our partnership with MCAS, Monrovia Rotary contributes 50 percent of the scholarship cost per student, and the MCAS covers the other 50 percent for certain vocational programs they offer. These scholarships assist students in finding new employment in industries such as Security, Technology Services, Occupational Safety, Healthcare, and Construction.

Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA)

Sponsor an 11th grader from a Monrovia High School to attend our annual leadership camp and receive the Rotary Youth Leadership Award. Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is an intensive, two-and-a-half-day leadership training program for high school sophomores and juniors in District 5300 chosen for their leadership potential. In addition to the development of leadership skills, RYLA is meant to develop understanding of Rotary among youth participants and reinforce and provide recognition for their efforts, accomplishments, skills and potential as leaders.

Your donation of $300 will sponsor one child for RYLA but any amount is appreciated.
