Nourish Families GIFT CARD

Nourish Families was created by a local parent and child therapist at the beginning of the Covid-19 crisis in March 2020. The program works by providing a free meal to a family-in-need for every meal that is purchased by a community member.

When you purchase a gift card, the gift card holder will be able to order a meal and a second meal will be provided to a family-in-need. We have a selection of Gift Cards available:

  • Ready-to-eat Family Meal Gift Card (serves four) = $50
  • Freezer Meal Gift Card (serves four) = $40
  • Freezer Meal Gift Card (serves two) = $20
  • BoxcAr by CrAsian = $50 (gift certificate for use on location at BNA Brewing Tasting Room)

Order your ready-to-eat meal before any Tuesday for a Thursday delivery by one of our Volunteer Drivers. All freezer meals are available for pick-up with three business days' notice or can be delivered on a Thursday by a Volunteer Driver. And Crasian gift cards are available any day of the week for pickup at our Family Support Centre (101-1505 Harvey Ave., Kelowna).

With your purchase, you will receive a taxable donation and your donation will go to our Nourish Families program, which has expanded to work with hundreds of families a year, providing important, free support to help families develop, learn and grow together. Our families-in-need receive the following supports:

  • Locally made freezer meals
  • Artisan bread from Okanagan Grocery
  • Produce hampers from the Central Okanagan Foodbank and Helen’s Acres
  • Early childhood development resources, toys, and activity bags from Childhood Connections Early Learning Toy & Resource Library
  • Playful Healing – free children’s therapy services
  • Parenting resources and training through Childhood Connections Family Resource Program
  • Weekly connection from a Childhood Connections Community Support Worker
