Sheila Warneken - Magic of Twilight

Inspiration for my headboard is a phrase, “Everyone needs a place to hang their hat, feel safe and secure”. I have travelled a lot and the best part of my trip is coming home and curling up in my own bed after a long journey. My scene is of Vancouver Island as that’s my safe secure haven. My is “everyone will have a place one day to “Hang their Hat!”

Upcycled door can be used as a Queen or King headboard, or legs can be removed for art to be hung on wall.

Sheila Warneken’s business is Ladybug Creative Arts; she lives in Shawnigan Lake. She formerly owned fabric, craft and yarn stores, wrote articles for South Cowichan Life, created costumes for dance and skating designs for Canadians Tour and Skate Canada. This is her third Habitat Victoria event.
