Sylvia Wearne - The Sound of Rust

Rusted objects returning to the soil are both beautiful and tragic. My work alludes to the refuge behind a door, which can initially appear to provide comfort, but imprison someone in its space. More support must be given to teens and young adults who slip through the cracks without early mental health assistance and career counselling.
