Jan Dong - Golden Dragon

This is the Year of the Dragon in a Leap Year. Being born on Leap Year and of Asian descent, the dragon was my inspiration. The gold dragon represents prosperity and wealth. It was rewarding knowing that funds raised contribute to a wonderful cause. My vision for a brighter future is for everyone to have an affordable place to live. It Opens Doors!

Jan is an active member in painting, mixed media, calligraphy, and bookbinding societies. As a self-taught artist, she paints intuitively utilizing bright colours and calligraphic marks to generate movement and energy. Jan has travelled extensively and still calls Victoria home.
