Pink Shirt Day Breakfast

Join BGC Okanagan’s celebration to Be kind and lift each other up at the annual TELUS Business Pink Shirt Day Breakfast 2024.

Pink Shirt Day has always been a meaningful day for BGC Okanagan, as it reflects the core values of belonging, respect, encouragement and support, working together and speaking out.

We are excited to have International Speaker, Trisha Miltimore, share personal stories that have taught her how to live with less stress and more enjoyment. Using the tools of Kindness, Community and Gratitude we can engineer an elevated life experience that is more fun, fulfilling and impactful. #yeswecan Trisha Miltimore is passionate about empowering teams, leaders and HUMANS to engineer their own DEEPLY SATISFYING LIFE EXPERIENCE.

Thank you to the Okanagan Chefs Association everyone will enjoy a tasty breakfast buffet. We will also have Flash and Frame capturing all the guests in their pink.

The goal, this year, is to raise $25,000 to assist BGC Okanagan with providing the high-quality programs that support children and youth in learning empathy, caring, understanding, inclusion, diversity and community engagement. It will also help continue to provide safe spaces where BGC Okanagan can provide systemic opportunities to all children and youth.

We look forward to seeing you all on February 28th from 7am - 930am at the Laurel Packinghouse.

BGC Okanagan is also looking for sponsors to join the movement and be included in the Pink Shirt Day Breakfast. If you would like to join our kindness movement, please reach out to Stephanie at sponting@bgco.ca.

At BGC Okanagan our goal is to help children and youth discover and achieve their dreams and grow up to be healthy, successful, and active participants in society. We are the leading provider of programs to children and youth that support the healthy physical, educational, and social development to more than 8100 young people and their families each year. We have been helping young people discover, develop, and achieve their potential since 1959. Clubs offer programs in physical recreation, technology, the arts, leadership, life skills and personal growth, and more. Many clubs also provide meals, emergency shelter, family support programs, and other support networks for the community. Together we provide young people with a safe place where they can experience a whole lot of opportunities. Opportunity Changes Everything.
