About the Book

Bot-bot the robot has just been born. Every new situation in which he finds himself sparks a new emotion to learn about; what it is and how his body feels. Join Bot-bot and his family on their adventures as they learn about their feelings, emotions and senses.

Your family will love Bot-bot the robot. The adorable illustrations and rhythmical verses will have you reading time and time again. But this is so much more than just a new favourite for the bookshelf. There are two important reasons for this book.

First of all, it is a valuable tool for exploring feelings and emotions with young children. It contains tips for talking to your child about their feelings and how to create a sense of emotional literacy.

Secondly, this book is a fundraiser for our Playful Healing program at Childhood Connections. 100% of every purchase goes to the program which provides free child therapy to children in financial need.

About Playful Healing

Playful Healing was designed to support children who are struggling in their day to day life with feelings of worry, uncertainty, isolation, and unhappiness and whose families are unable to afford expensive therapy. By providing FREE, one-to-one therapy, we help children manage and cope with behavioural struggles and anxiety.

At Childhood Connections, we have always worked within our community to fill gaps in early years services. We noticed an increase in childhood struggles with mental health and families who could not afford the services for their children. Our new program, Playful Healing, is here to help with free play therapy and child life therapy for children and families in financial need.
