PORCA's Annual Fundraiser and Silent Auction
Welcome to PORCA's Annual Fundraiser and Silent Auction! While we can't quite lace up our dancing shoes and head to the Legion, your annual shopping splurge is back in (surprise, surprise) a virtual format.
PORCA is excited to be supporting several projects that aim to grow the bike community. The bike skills park, youth development program, and Indigenous program partnerships are projects that started in 2021. Your direct donation to one of these projects help support the continuation of these programs in addition to our yearly trail projects and events.
The silent auction is packed with products, services, and vouchers from incredible businesses both near and far. Level up your gear, scratch that travel itch, go on a date night, advance your bike skills, or just sit down with a nice sack of potatoes. How do I bid on an item?
To bid on an item, click the “view and bid” button. If this is the first time you are bidding on an item in this auction you will be prompted to enter your email address and create a password to login to the auction. Once logged in, you can bid on as many items as you wish!
How will I know if I’ve been outbid?
When you are outbid on an item, you will receive an email letting you know you’ve been outbid. If you choose to enable browser notifications it will also prompt you in your browser. Although you may find these emails annoying, please do not unsubscribe because you will not receive an email telling you that you've won!
How will I know if I’ve won?
When the auction is closed, everyone will receive an email notifying them if they won an item or not. If you have won an item, you will be automatically charged on the credit card entered and issued a receipt immediately.
What are the fees that come up at checkout?
Each transaction has a fee that covers use of this Trellis website and credit card charges. You can choose to pay for your fee, or uncheck the box and PORCA will cover the fee.
Is all the information on this site accurate?
While all information is believed to be accurate, it is not guaranteed to be so.
Can I get a tax receipt for my donation?
The Pemberton Off Road Cycling Association is a registered non-profit and not a charity so, unfortunately, no you cannot get a tax benefit receipt.
