About

Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex is celebrating out 30th year building affordable homes with local families living in core housing need in Windsor and Essex County. Our mission is to mobilize volunteers and community partners in building affordable housing and promoting home ownership as a means to breaking the cycle of poverty. In 2024, we have already welcomed two families home in Sandwich Towne - forever changing the lives of two single parents raising children in housing crisis. Brighter futures are ahead for these two families - and now we are ready to build three more homes in this West Windsor community. Each home not only forever changes the lives of the partner families, it also revitalizes the neighbourhood, replacing vacant or derelict properties with new, safe, secure homes that helps to improve property values and provides hope to a community determined to reclaim its former glory and celebrate their rich history.

Our 50/50 draws are an essential part of our fundraising efforts. Proceeds help fund our build program, which means more families will achieve the safety, security and stability needed for future success!
