Why are we Raisin' Health?
Because one in seven children in Canada struggles with their weight. 3% of youth suffer from anxiety. Physical and mental health are everyone's business. We need to raise our health.
We work in community supporting our young citizens to be aware of the importance and the need to practice healthy habits. Our programs and initiatives include educational classes on diet and mindfulness, the social importance of play, the benefits of exercise and helping others.
We empower individuals to choose actions that will raise their physical and mental health!
How are we Raisin' Health?
together, we are more
providing research & ideas to schools
respecting each other's differences & strengths
programs that fit with the needs of those we serve
Eat, Walk, Play, Live!
NSTEP provides hands-on nutrition and physical activity for students, teachers and families. We strive to promote positive change in the health of our communities through active learning.
Purposeful Acts of Kindness
Humanity in Practice (hip) empowers the young and the young at heart through a variety of volunteer experiences and by promoting the benefits of mindfulness through photography. We believe that when we are our best selves, our community benefits.
