Responsible Adult

This course offers the opportunity to train adults wanting to enter the child care field, no matter which child care choice. It satisfies the requirements for

• School Age Care Courses
• Family Child Care Training Courses
• Responsible Adult Certification

This is an entry level course, and participants who successfully complete the units of Health, Safety, Nutrition, Development, Guidance and Programming will satisfy the 20 hours of recognized training and will be certified as a Responsible Adult working in Licensed Child Care, as required by the current BC Child Care Licensing Regulations.

After completing the Foundations of Child Care Course, participants will receive a certificate that clearly spell out the units, subjects and hours completed.

Please note: Once you have completed your registration and payment allow 5-7 Business Days for a binder to be created and available for pick-up. Once your coursework has been returned please allow 5-10 business days for the facilitator to review and mark your material, create your certificate and get your coursework ready for pickup.
