The Cause: <CODE>anagan
The Okanagan Tech sector is one of the fastest growing sectors in the Okanagan and one of their biggest problems is a lack of talent. Many at risk youth in the Okanagan are not exposed to career opportunities in the tech sector, so the United Way CSO, together with several community partners, started CODEanagan.  The program provides disadvantaged youth (ages 16-22) with opportunities in the tech sector.
Organized by
United Way Southern Interior BC
The United Way Mission is to improve lives and build community by engaging individuals and mobilizing collective action. Locally that means creating opportunities for a better life for everyone in our communities, including vulnerable children, youth, families and seniors. Every dollar raised stays in your community and touches the lives of over 85,000 people every year with programs that impact them at multiple stages in their lives. Making social issues #UNIGNORABLE through Local Love in action.
