small hands BIG DREAMS!

small hands, BIG DREAMS is a premier event supporting the Regina Early Learning Centre early childhood programming in Regina. The live event will be held March 17th, 2022 at the Casino Regina Show Lounge and feature musical performances by the Cattails, Conrad Bigknife and The Shoe-string Cowboys, and The UnCoolas. We will have a virtual silent auction, 50-50 cash raffle, and a few other fun surprises. Supporting this event is a great way to show your concern for Regina’s youngest and most vulnerable citizens and invest in the future health of our community. With your help, we hope to raise over $75,000.00.

Founded in 1977, the Regina Early learning Centre is a family and child development centre which works with families to foster the healthy development of children from prenatal to five years of age. The first five years of life are incredibly important and can have a profound impact on physical and mental health, educational success and ability to become a contributing member of our community. Investments in young children lead to healthier children, stronger families and more vibrant communities.

Cattails

The Cattails are a new group from Regina, with a sound centered on a unique combination of mandola and trumpet. They are inspired by the musical traditions and philosophy of New Orleans Jazz, and their sound is born from the fusion of that ethos with the unique natural and cultural environment of Regina. The Cattails artistic mission is to achieve a "swamp sound:" to distill a clean and distinct sound from the wastewater of myriad traditions and influences. Allow the rhythmic thrum of the mandola to ferry you away to a primordial fen, where

Dixieland standards, Irish ayres, Japanese folk dances and Slavic marches eddy and swirl in the waters.

Show time at 7:00 p.m
