Meet our Speaker, Amelia Warren!

Amelia is the CEO of Epicure, a direct-selling company that is dedicated to bettering the lives of families through healthy meal solutions that go from raw-to-ready in 20 minutes or less. She is the founder of the Good Food. Real Fast.™ Movement, and is on a mission to give every person the knowledge, skills, and tools to cook and eat well for a lifetime of good health.

For Amelia, thinking critically about food started with an obvious teacher: her mom. Sylvie Rochette founded Epicure with the mindset that "if you want to be healthy, you have to cook”. Amelia joined Epicure in 2006 with a passion for food and corporate social responsibility. By 2009 she was CEO and had a new socially conscious vision for the company.

After 13 years as CEO, she is grateful for her mother’s mentorship which has inspired her to give back and support other female leaders. Amelia was recently recognized as one of British Columbia’s top 40 under 40 Business Leaders and was featured in BC Business Magazine for winning the 2022 Business of Good Awards for Community Involvement.

Organized by
Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland
As an organization that seeks to build self-esteem, we believe that every person has limitless potential and individual strengths. We seek to maximize these traits in each person who is a part of Big Sisters: the Little Sisters who haven’t yet seen what they are capable of; the mentors who are realizing their capability as role models; our supporters and community partners whose collaboration and backing is needed to help us build sustainable programs; and the volunteers and staff whose skills and knowledge help guide and grow this organization.
