Join your Muskoka community, and other cities across the country for the May 2nd Stay At Home Gala. Part local, part national: a virtual gala for every Canadian. The online gala is a one-night event which unites Canadians across the country with the aim to strengthen community efforts and raise critical funds to manage the impact of the COVID-19 virus on our communities.
Social distancing at its finest, the virtual gala will host all the familiar elements: optional dinner (delivered to your door), game-changing speakers, entertainers, musicians, silent auction and much more. Don your best Muskoka gala outfit, log on, and dine to support the members of our community who have been impacted by the COVID-19 virus. All proceeds will stay local! The Muskoka Community Foundation will direct funds raised in our community back to Huntsville Hospital Foundation, South Muskoka Hospital Foundation, various Food Security Programs in the district and the Muskoka Women's Shelters and Services. Each of these organizations have experienced a significant impact due to the current COVID-19 pandemic. Eligible tax receipts will be issued by the Muskoka Community Foundation.
Join us at 7:00pm for musical entertainment. Grab a drink, take a seat, kick your feet up and get ready for an evening of entertainment and connection… pants optional! Don’t forget to snap a picture of your best gala threads and post it to instagram using #StayHomeRedCarpet. Oh, and be sure to visit the silent auction! Our main program will begin at 7:30pm.
