Stay-at-Home Royal Tea

Join us and other friends for the May 31st Stay At Home Royal Tea since we are not able to get together this year. The online Royal Tea is a Sunday Afternoon event which unites us with the aim to raise critical funds to manage the impact of the COVID-19 virus on Kids Can Fly and Dolly Parton's Imagination Library in Brantford and Brant County.

Social distancing at its finest, the Virtual Royal Tea will host all the familiar elements: Special Tea and Treats in a Take-Away Box (delivered to your door), entertainers, musicians, silent auction and much more. Don your best Royal outfit, make your tea, log on, and enjoy your treats to support the programs and activities of Kids Can Fly and Dolly Parton's Imagination Library as they help to support families in our community.

Take-Away Boxes will be porch dropped between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm on May 31st. It will be the responsibility of the guest to collect and keep chilled until the event starts at 3:00 pm. Contact 519-771-2543 or admin@kidscanfly.ca for any concerns.

All proceeds will stay local! Eligible tax receipts will be issued by KIDS CAN FLY, EARLY CHILD DEVELOPMENT AND PARENTING SUPPORT.

Join us at 3:00pm for the Royal Tea program and musical entertainment. Brew your tea, take a seat, kick your feet up and get ready for an afternoon of entertainment and connection.

Don’t forget to snap a picture of your best Royal fascinator or hat and post it to instagram using #Virtual RoyalTea or email to admin@kidscanfly.ca to be entered into the BEST ROYAL TEA HAT CONTEST.

Oh, and be sure to visit the silent auction! Our silent auction will begin at 12:00 noon. on May 31, 2020.

Your Royal Tea Take Away Box will be delivered to your home in the Brantford, Paris, St. George and rural area within 10 km. Between 1:00 - 3:00 pm; Food will need to be collected from the porch drop and refrigerate until ready to eat.

Kids Can Fly is a registered charity that supports early learning and parenting. We were founded in 2001. The mandate of Kids Can Fly is to help ALL children maximize their potential. We base what we do on the research of the late Dr. Fraser Mustard. This foundation of this research is that a baby’s brain is only 20% wired at birth and their experiences (or lack thereof) during the first six years of life set the stage for lifelong learning, health and well being. We also believe that parents are a child’s first and most important teachers and therefore we strive to help provide nurturing and learning for parents so they can do the very best job possible. Kids Can Fly likes to be considered a catalyst to help bring about change, fill gaps as they appear and to advocate for children and families.
