Janella Hamilton - Emcee

Janella joined CTV Morning Live Saskatoon as the "On the Go" reporter in the fall of 2016. The spontaneity of her job is what she loves most! When she’s not at work, Janella enjoys being at the gym – which helps balance out her sweet tooth. She also loves trying new things, dancing like no one’s watching and taking in a good movie from time to time – many of which are reviewed on her weekly “Janella Goes to the Movies” segment on CTV Morning Live

Keynote Speaker

Take Control.

Shift Your Mindset.

Change Your Circumstances.

Kendal Netmaker is one of Canada’s leading entrepreneurs and speakers, from Sweetgrass First Nation, SK. He was raised by a single mother who cared for Kendal and his three younger sisters while growing up in poverty and few chances for opportunity.

The incredible generosity of his childhood friend’s family inspired Kendal to give back when he launched his company, Neechie Gear® – a lifestyle apparel brand that empowers youth through sports. A percentage of all Neechie Gear® profits go toward funding underprivileged youth to take part in sports.

Kendal speaks professionally to thousands of people each year on resilience, leadership and the power of telling your story.

Beppie

A special performance for our younger guests!

Beppie (Stephanie Nhan) is a JUNO nominated recording artist and an award winning music educator based out of Edmonton, Alberta.

Her music is filled with imagination, humour, and the kind of radio quality production that appeals to audiences of all ages. She is pushing the boundaries of children’s music and stepping far out of the framework with her vivid imagery and genre bending songwriting.

Best known as the singer/guitarist/frontman for Saskatoon hard-rock bands "Riff Raff", Rory is also a solo performer and in 2016 was named one of the "Top 6 Things to See in Saskatoon in Summer" by Planet S Magazine.

With only his voice, an acoustic guitar and some fancy guitar pedals, Rory strips down an eclectic selection of songs spanning many genres - performed with humour and an attitude of never taking himself too seriously.

Wild Black is the solo collaborative project of Ethiopian Canadian singer, songwriter, musician and budding producer, Elsa Gebremichael. Born and raised in Saskatoon, SK, she grew up writing, recording and performing in bands whose genres range from psych rock to electro pop to Motown shaping her into the artist she is today. In these projects she toured North American and Europe, opened for artists such as Janelle Monae, Tegan & Sara, and Metric, and was nominated for a Western Canadian Music Award for Pop Recording of the Year. All of these experiences allowed her to explore and expand personally and creatively resulting in this culminating moment as Wild Black.

With a genre fluid sound influenced by her eclectic musical background, Wild Black blends live instrumentation with electronic elements to create a dreamy yet upbeat and infectious soundscape. Check out her latest single, Moon Star Lover, a disco inspired bop that will surely lead you straight to the dance floor whether that’s in your kitchen, living room or backyard. Wild Black is currently working on her debut album and excited to share new music real soon.

HunnyB

The multi-talented singer, songwriter, and actress has been working tirelessly writing songs, excited to share as many as possible in 2020. Her love for Africa has inspired her sound as afro-pop becomes HunnyB's future. Where her debut EP was based on breakups and cheating, her newest records, still personal, are on the positive side of the emotional spectrum.

"To those who have seen and heard her, HunnyB is a J-Lo lookalike with a Beyonce sound."
