You're Invited to Taste & Toast 2023

Taste & Toast is the Forsyth Institute's annual fundraising gala and VIP event of the year. Join us for a night to remember with good food and good company, all for a good cause.

This year’s event will be an exclusive and intimate gathering, bringing together leading figures from the academic, business, venture capital, and biotech communities.

Our guests will have opportunities to engage with other VIP supporters and personalities while enjoying world-class cuisine, provided by Chef Peter McCarthy and his team. Additionally, guests will learn about new initiatives and partnership opportunities at Forsyth.

This event supports our community programs: ForsythKids, ForsythCares, and Forsyth Student Scholars. Learn more below.

More about Forsyth's community programs

ForsythKids

Our pediatric mobile dental program reaches 3000 kids in underserved communities around the Greater Boston Area every year. Of the children we serve, 90% live below the poverty line and 80% are from underrepresented backgrounds. Many of these children would not have access to dental care if it weren't for ForsythKids.

ForsythCares

Many older adults are left out of the equation when it comes to dental coverage. Our pilot program, ForsythCares, bridges the gap between need and coverage for older adults. In our first year we did transformative work on 30 older adults who would likely have lost all their teeth if they didn't receive care.

Forsyth Student Scholars

We believe that STEM is better when it is more diverse. That's why we offer paid internships for high school students from underrepresented communities in the greater Boston area. After conducting research in our labs with our scientists, 100% of the student scholars are currently enrolled in or have completed 4-year college degrees.
