Support TheatreOne's efforts! As you may well know, ticket sales only cover a portion of what it costs to present live professional theatre.
For over 35 years TheatreOne has entertained, inspired, and enriched the City of Nanaimo and the mid-Vancouver Island region.
Our programs include:
- Mainstage (live theatre)
- Emerging Voices (development of local playwrights)
- Just Kidding (theatre for kids)
- Fringe Flicks (alternative movies from around the world).
Where does your money go?
Every dollar goes to support our performances and permeates the local economy through:
- recruitment of talent
- multiplier effect of every dollar spent on the arts
- stimulus provided to local businesses through spending by arts organizations, professionals, and patrons
- payment for venues, advertising and administrative support
- complimentary passes to families and children in need
