Season Recap

This season we produced over 22,000 lbs of organically grown vegetables. That's a new record for us!

Not only did we produce the most food we ever have, we reached the most people. Over 13,350 lbs of of our vegetables (60% of our harvest) were distributed through 17 different community food programs across the city.

These vegetables were all donated or sold at our reduced farmgate prices.

4 New Community Markets!

This year Urban Roots London launched 4 neighbourhood markets in partnership with Crouch Neighbourhood Resource Centre, Glen Cairn Community Resource Centre, LUSO Community Services, and Northwest London Community Resource Centre.

Each market brought together artisans, musicians, and neighbours to celebrate local and seasonal flavours.

Farmgate Market

Our farmgate market located at 21 Norlan Avenue received over 800 visits! That's a 49% increase from last year!

We've been so happy to connect with you all at our farmgate market and during our Plantiful Summer Series. This was the first season we hosted so many events. It was so wonderful to bring together such a talented community of artists, performers, and chefs on the farm. We are so thankful for the support we've received and look forward to what next season will bring!
