1. Players must be 18 years old or older and must be a resident of Manitoba or physically located in Manitoba.

2. Ticket details are as follows:

▪ Purchase Price of tickets: 5 for $10.00, 30 for $20.00, 200 for $40.00

▪ Maximum tickets being made available for sale will be 1,000,000

▪ The location of the draws will be:

Victoria Hospital Foundation, 2340 Pembina Highway, Winnipeg, MB, R3T 2E8

▪ The dates and times of the draws will be:

Thursday, Feb. 1st, 2024 – Thursday, March 28th, 2024 (Duration: 8 weeks)

Early Bird 1: Thursday, Feb 22nd at 9:30 AM

Early Bird 2: Thursday, March 14th at 9:30 AM

Main Draw: Thursday, March 28th at 9:30 AM

3. The prize description for each raffle is as follows:

▪ First Early Bird Prize: $500.00

▪ Second Early Bird Prize: $250.00

▪ 50/50 Main Draw: 50% of ticket sales or $5000, which ever is more.

4. The draw details for each raffle are as follows:

▪ There will be 3 sequential draws where each winner will receive a cash prize (2 Early Bird prizes and 1

Main Draw prize).

▪ The winners will be determined by a random draw utilizing an LGCA registered Electronic Raffle

Supplier (ERS) Random Number Generator (RNG).

▪ The winning ticket numbers and amounts will be posted immediately following the draws at

www.thevic5050.com.

▪ Winners will be contacted via the email and contact number provided at time of purchase and the

prize money will be transferred electronically to the winner.

▪ All prizes are paid electronically within 30 business days of contact with the winner. If the winner

selects the option to have the cheque mailed, additional time will be incurred due to the time required

for delivery via the postage system.

▪ All winners who claim their prize agree to share their likeness for the purpose of promoting the

Victoria Hospital Foundation’s 50/50 raffle.

▪ Winning numbers, player names, amounts and draw dates are also available on the Foundation

website at www.thevicfoundation.ca or by calling 204-477-3513.

5. Elimination of winners for each raffle is as follows:

▪ The 3 sequential draws will take place in the following order: Early Bird 1, Early Bird 2, and the Main

Draw.

▪ Any tickets bought prior to the Early Bird 1 draw are eligible for: Early Bird 1, Early Bird 2, and the Main

Draw.

▪ Any tickets bought after the Early Bird 1 draw and prior to the Early Bird 2 draw are eligible for: Early

Bird 2, and the Main Draw.

▪ Any tickets bought after the Early Bird 2 draw and prior to the Main Draw are eligible for: the Main

Draw.

▪ The winning ticket from the Early Bird 1 will be eligible to win the Early Bird 2 and the Main Draw.

▪ The winning ticket from the Early Bird 2 will be eligible to win the Main Draw.

6. Conditions and eligibility are as follow:

▪ Players must be 18 years old or older upon purchase of tickets.

▪ Players must be a resident of Manitoba or physically located in Manitoba to purchase tickets.

▪ The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the Victoria Hospital Foundation’s 50/50

Raffle: All employees of Victoria Hospital Foundation and all Victoria Hospital Foundation board

members.

7. Other restrictions to winning the prize are as follows:

▪ Victoria Hospital Foundation is not responsible for difficulties arising in contacting winners due to the

winner entering erroneous contact information at the time of purchase. If a person believes they are a

winner and haven’t been contacted by Victoria Hospital Foundation 50/50 staff, please email

8. Conditions to unclaimed prize(s) are as follows:

▪ Early Bird winners must claim their prize within 24 hours of the draw, otherwise the Early Bird prize will

be redrawn immediately.

▪ Main Draw Winners must claim their prize within 30 days of the draw. Unclaimed prizes will be

donated to the Victoria Hospital Foundation.
