2020 Virtual Spirit Wheel Walk Run Across (your little piece) of Canada Challenge
Host a Virtual SWWR from the comfort of your home, yard, or on your favourite social media platform.
Your event will raise much needed awareness of the conditions and funding for HC programs and services for those living with hydrocephalus and/or spina bifida across Canada.
Challenge Ideas
Here are some ideas that you can use to host your “wheel walk or run”.
- Physical challenge like a solo or family run, walk, hike, following social distancing rules. Ask people to donate per step or kilometre or lap around your yard, house or apartment.
- Decorate your window with a message of SUPPORT FOR HYDROCEPHALUS CANADA and ask for donations to support our work.
- All day video/board game challenge with donations per hour of gaming.
- Read-a-thon with a donation per magazine or book.
- Dance-a-thon challenge with donations per hour of non-stop dancing.
- Hair razing event.
- Create a Facebook campaign for a special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, graduations.
