Virtual "Wine'd Up" 2020
On October 24, 2020, Whistler Search and Rescue Society will present their very first “Virtual Wine’d Up” event and fundraiser. “Wine’d Up” is the only event that raises funds to support the society's volunteer team of SAR Techs, and this year we are bringing it virtually to your home!
Please join us on Saturday, October 24 at 7 PM for a lively program featuring our volunteers, special guests and entertainment. The event will include an engaging look into how WSAR supports our community for search and rescue operations in the Whistler and Sea to Sky area.
General admission tickets priced at $50 each are also available, so you can join us from wherever you are!

How do I join the auction?

How do I bid on an item?
To bid on an item, click the “view and bid” button. If this is the first time you are bidding on an item in this auction you will be prompted to enter your email address and create a password to login to the auction. Once logged in, you can bid on as many items as you wish! You can also search on categories at the top of the auction page.
How will I know if I’ve been outbid?
If you are outbid on an item, you will receive an email letting you know you’ve been outbid. If you choose to enable browser notifications it will also prompt you in your browser.
How will I know if I’ve won?
When the auction is closed, everyone will receive an email notifying them if they won an item/s or not.
When do I pay for the item I won?
After the auction closes, everyone who participated in the auction will be notified if they won an item or not. An email is sent to the winner that contains a link taking them back to the auctions page. If you are already logged in, you will see a banner that you have won items, and be directed to the “Won Bids.” Please enter your credit card information for payment immediately so you can be sure the items are set aside for you for collection.
If the winner has not logged out and is using the same device, they won't need to enter their email and password as they're still logged in.
Where do I pick up my auction items?
Your auction item(s) will be available for pick-up on Sunday, October 25 between 12 to 3 pm or on Wednesday, October 28th between 4 pm and 6 pm at Whistler Search & Rescue, 8020 Nesters Road (right next to the Municipal Whistler Public Works Yard building).
How will I know when the auction starts and ends?
If you sign into the auction before it begins, you will receive an email when the auction begins and another email when the auction closes. The auction opens on Friday, October 16 at 12 PM and closes on Saturday, October 24 at 8:30 PM.
