Wildlife Baby Shower

Spring signals the start of wildlife baby season! Over the coming months, AIWC will care for over 1,000 animals, most of them injured and orphaned wildlife babies. Please help ensure that these wildlife babies have a future.

Animals are often injured or orphaned because of human activities - window strike, vehicle collision, barbed wire, domestic cat and dog attacks, and kidnapping (or taking a healthy baby animal from the wild).

This year marks our 9th Annual Wildlife Baby Shower event, with the goal of raising funds to care for animals in need and increasing awareness about the natural behaviours of our wild neighbours.

As a non-profit organization, we rely solely on donations and successful grant applications to operate. Did you know that it can cost well over $1,000 to rehabilitate an individual animal?

COVID-19 may have brought our lives to a standstill, but for the animals, it is still wildlife baby season!

Every dollar you give helps. Thank you for your support!

“Bird collisions with residential glass surfaces account for a significant number of bird deaths annually - especially during migration seasons. In order for birds to 'see the glass' and not collide subtle visible markers must be applied to exterior glass surfaces in problem areas. A new highly-effective ‘Do-It-Yourself’ Kit is now available from Feather Friendly® Technologies. It allows you to apply the same solution at home that has proven to be successful in thousands of square feet of commercial building installations.” - Feather Friendly®.
