About Kitimai

Bhiku Shah brought his passion and skills in the coffee and tea trade from Kenya to Toronto and established Kitimai. Since 1980, his family business has been roasting, blending, and supplying the finest coffees and teas in Canada.

Roasting on a vintage G.W. Barth Coffee roaster not only makes the neighbourhood smell great but also produces some of the most well balanced and interesting coffees in the Canadian market.

"I’m personally thrilled to be able to contribute in any way we can to help newcomers. As a company founded by immigrants, we are all well aware that there are so many challenges and obstacles that they face. We really appreciate the work MNLCT does to help people settle."

– Rakesh Shah, Partner, Kitimai Tea & Coffee Inc.
