Hummingbirds, Swans, Cedar Waxwings, Bats, Nighthawks, Loons, Ravens, Cormorants, Steller’s Jays, and Herons… are just a few of the thousands of animals that got the care and rehabilitation they needed at Wildlife Rescue this year. All these animals could not have been rescued without the support of our community.


Your ticket purchase will provide crucial care for patients at Wildlife Rescue to be released back to their wild homes.

Raffle Rules of Play

I. TICKET DETAILS

A. Purchase Price of Ticket(s):

1,680 tickets at 1 ticket at $10 for $16,800, 10,800 tickets at 5 tickets at $20 for $43,200, 36,000 tickets at 15 tickets at $30 for $72,000, 216,000 tickets at 100 tickets at $50 for $108,000


B. Maximum tickets being made available for sale will be: 264480


C. The date(s), time(s), and location of the draw(s) will be:

"50/50 Draw": November 28, 2023 at 6:00 PM 5216 Glencarin Drive, Burnaby, BC, V5B 3C1


D. The Prize(s):

50% of ticket sales. Winner may take a maximum amount of $120,000.00


II. METHOD

determined by a random draw utilizing an GPEB registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) Random Number Generator (RNG). The winner shall be announced to all participants via electronic notification.


III. ELIMINATION OF WINNERS

There's only one draw to be conducted, no subsequent draws after that.


IV. AGE LIMIT

Must be 19 or older to participate.


V. CONDITIONS & ELIGIBILITY

Participants must be located within the province of British Columbia. The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the raffle: All employees of the organization associated with the management and execution of the raffle, and all of the organization's board members.


VI. ANY OTHER RESTRICTIONS TO THE WINNING PRIZE

The organization is not responsible for difficulties arising in contacting the winner due to the winner entering erroneous contact information at the time of purchase. If a person believes they are a winner and haven't been contacted by organization staff, please email giving@wildliferescue.ca or call 16045267275. Winners are not required to be present at the draw location.


VII. CONDITIONS FOR UNCLAIMED PRIZES

Winners have 30 days to claim the prize. Unclaimed prizes will be donated to the foundation approved by GPEB.


VIII. PURCHASING TICKETS

Tickets can only be purchased online.


IX. COMPLAINTS

Any complaints can be directed to the raffle administrators by emailing: giving@wildliferescue.ca. Administrators will review the complaint and take action if necessary.


X. DELAY IN DRAW

Should a delay occur in the draw time on draw day, every effort will be made to make the draw as soon as possible. Should an alternate day need to be announced, after approval by BC Gaming, all ticket purchasers will be notified via email.

Wildlife Rescue Association provides education to the public on co-existing with urban wildlife. Wildlife Rescue Association is a non-profit organization fueled by volunteers, donors, and communities who help the organization continue providing supportive care to wildlife in need. Each year the organization takes in an average of 5,000 patients making it the busiest wildlife rehabilitation centre in Canada. Since its doors opened in 1979 Wildlife Rescue Association has cared for more than 140,000 animals.
