Homeward Family Shelter O/A Julliette’s Place is a safe space for women experiencing abuse to gather their thoughts, come to terms with their current situation, and begin the process of planning their and their children’s future. We provide counselling, information and referrals, therapeutic programming, housing and legal assistance, community outreach, and support services.

Julliette's Place endeavors to support all women and their children to live a life free of violence and abuse and help them to build their skills and resilience through educational programs and support services. Healing and Hope since 1990.

Our History Opened in 1990, Homeward Family Shelter is a 35 bed emergency shelter for abused women and their children. Today the agency operates as Julliette’s Place in memory of ex-resident Juliet Reynolds, who was murdered by her estranged husband in 1996. We provide counselling, information and referrals, therapeutic programming, housing and legal assistance, community outreach, and support services. Julliette's Place endeavours to support all women and their children to live a life free of violence and abuse and help them to build their skills and resilience through educational programs and support services. #healingandhopesince1990
