It’s time for blog number 3 in our series that will show you how you can raise more money through your next fundraiser! If you missed our last two blogs teaching you how to increase your fundraising for your next event you can find them here and here
This one requires a little pre-planning… but trust us, it’s so worth it!

Everybody always talks about starting early, getting ahead of the curve, setting everything up in advance, and just like me, you are probably thinking blah, blah, blah. But before you go there in your head, think about the last time you said, “I’m really happy with how my fundraiser went, but if we would’ve sold more tickets / had more time / spent more time marketing it…” okay, you get the picture. When we start earlier, we set ourselves up for success.

When setting up your next fundraising page, we recommend you make it live as early as possible! You can always come back and update it, add exciting announcements, showcase new sponsor partnerships, and make changes later; but the earlier it goes live, the more time you have to promote and tell all your friends about it.

In a world that is known for last-minute culture, isn’t it time we try and break from the norm?

Set up your page sooner, and you can spend more time sharing the word, building excitement, and giving your potential supporters more time to process and understand what your event is all about as they consider attending your epic fundraiser!

And hey, still have lots of details to figure out first? Why don’t you make your page live without starting ticket sales? That will give you some time to plan the details on the backend while promoting the ‘tickets go live’ date building even more hype and excitement for your upcoming fundraiser. It’s a little sneaky-sneaky, but trust us, it works like a charm!
